Job opportunity for In-vitro Biologist
Patanjali Research Foundation is eagerly looking for a In-vitro Biologist
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and execute in vitro experiments to investigate the interactions between nanomedicine formulations and biological components, including cells, tissues, and biomolecules.
- Cultivate and maintain various cell lines and primary cell cultures in appropriate conditions, ensuring cell viability and functional integrity.
- Develop and optimize experimental protocols for characterizing cellular uptake, internalization mechanisms, intracellular trafficking, and toxicity of nanomedicine candidates.
- Utilize advanced microscopy techniques (e.g., confocal, fluorescence, electron microscopy) to visualize and analyze the interactions between nanomedicine and cellular structures.
- Perform quantitative assays to evaluate the efficacy and safety of nanomedicine formulations, such as cell viability assays, flow cytometry, and ELISA.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including chemists, pharmacologists, and engineers, to contribute to the design and development of nanomedicine products.
- Maintain accurate experimental records, analyze data, and prepare comprehensive reports summarizing findings and insights.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in nanomedicine research and apply innovative techniques such as simulated and 3D culture models to enhance experimental approaches.
- Contribute to the preparation of scientific publications, presentations, and patent applications as needed.
Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field with a focus on nanomedicine research.
- Proven expertise in designing and executing in vitro experiments related to cellular interactions, preferably with nanomedicine systems.
- Proficiency in cell culture techniques, including cell line maintenance, primary cell isolation, and culture optimization.
- Hands-on experience with microscopy techniques and image analysis software for the visualization and quantification of cellular interactions.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret experimental data, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions.
- Familiarity with various cell-based assays for assessing cellular responses to nanoparticles, including viability, apoptosis, and inflammation assays.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and present findings internally and externally.
- Communicate the research finding through peer-reviewed manuscripts.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced research environment.
- Prior experience in interdisciplinary research and knowledge of nanomedicine principles is advantageous.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and a passion for contributing to scientific advancements.
