International Conference “Anamayam” on Integrated Medicine- Patanjali University, in collaboration with Patanjali Research Institute and Central Sanskrit University, organized a two-day August 2-3, 2025 international conference "Anamayam" to promote integration between Ayurveda and modern medicine. The event brought together over 300+ participants from 16 states and 200 academic institutions, including medical experts, researchers, policy makers, and health technology specialists.
The inaugural session was graced by H. H. Swami Ramdev and H. H. Acharya Balkrishna, who emphasized evidence-based integrated medicine aimed at public welfare rather than commercialization. They announced collaborations with AIIMS, Tata Cancer Hospital, and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for affordable, world-class treatment at Patanjali facilities. Three books,viz. Ayurveda Avataran, Integrated Pathy, and the conference abstract were released. MoUs were signed with IIT Ropar for academic and research collaboration.
Key discussions included the role of traditional medicine in achieving global health goals, evidence-based AYUSH research, mental health and lifestyle management through Yoga, policy reforms, and patient-centric integrative care. Experts advocated incorporating modern tools in Ayurveda and highlighted its scientific foundation. Acharya Balkrishna introduced Patanjali’s new text, Saumitreya Nidana and the World Herbal Encyclopedia, covering nine global medical systems, 964 healing practices, and tribal medicinal knowledge.
The event featured six technical sessions, poster presentations, and panel discussions on future prospects of integrative medicine. Participants unanimously recognized integrated healthcare as the future of global health. Awards were given for the best posters and oral presentations. The conference concluded with a commitment to continue such initiatives, marking a milestone in global health dialogue.
