UPLC/MS-QToF: Equipped with a high resolution and high stability quadruples analyzer. It is used for the identification of chemical compounds present in herbal extracts This cutting-edge technology is used in the specific detection and potential identification of chemicals in presence of other chemicals in a complex mixture. It also aids to standardize the compounds in a given herbal extract.

Gas Chromatography with Flame Ionization Detection (GC-FID) and Headspace analysis is a versatile analytical technique that plays a crucial role in modern analytical chemistry. It enables the precise separation and quantification of volatile compounds in a wide range of samples, making it an indispensable tool for research, quality control, and regulatory compliance. The technique is especially valuable in applications such as Natural products, Pharmaceuticals, Food and Beverage, Environmental monitoring, and Forensic analysis".

Considering the current advisory from the Food Safety and Drug Administration (Uttrakhand) and regulatory requirements for testing of Diethylene glycol (DEG) and Ethylene glycol (EG) in cough syrup, Patanjali Research Foundation has developed in-house capabilities for testing these compound using Gas Chromatography (GC) with Flame Ionization Detector (FID).

Our lab has been audited and accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for its validated testing protocols and equipped with state-of-the-art facility to meet the international standards.
