Ayurdhan 2024 - An International Conference on Harmonizing Ayurveda, Technology and Innovation for a Healthier Future
The focus of the conference is to discuss the groundbreaking discoveries, evidence-based research and challenges that can help revive Ayurveda globally. This event is planned to celebrate National Ayurveda Day (Dhanwantari Jayanti). It is sponsored by Ministry of AYUSH under the Ayurswasthaya Yojana and organized by the Centre of Excellence, Patanjali Ayurved Hospital, in collaboration with Patanjali Research Foundation and the University of Patanjali. We aim to provide a common platform for Ayurveda experts, scientists, research scholars, material science veterans and enthusiasts to brainstorm possible ideas and immense opportunities in the Ayurveda and Herbal Medicine fields.

Speaker: Prof. Namrita Lall, Department of Plant and Soil Science, University of Pretoria, Pretoria, South Africa
Prof. Namrita Lall is a Research Chair at the University of Pretoria. She is internationally renowned for her research work in the field of Phytomedicine and on the potential of medicinal plants for pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical purposes.
She has published more than 180 research articles, 13 patents, more than 70 book chapters. Among several awards received in recognition for her work, a few are “The Order of Mapungubwe”, South Africa’s highest honour from the Honorable South African President Jacob Zuma (April 2014), and UNESCO-L’Oreal Award for Women in Science (one of the 10 selected candidates internationally, March 2002, in Paris).
She has received several prestigious awards in recognition of her work and has established networks with leading researchers all around the globe including the USA, England, France, Egypt, India, Cameroon, Italy, Ireland, Tanzania, Mauritius and Japan.
