As such, Patanjali Research Foundation is recognised and certified with various regulatory bodies in India and worldwide.

The research and development (R&D) laboratories at Patanjali Research Foundation are accredited with:

Scientific and Industrial Research Organization - Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India (DSIR-SIRO)

Patanjali Research Foundation has been duly accorded and certified as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India, under the scheme on Recognition of Scientific and Industrial Research Organizations (SIROs), 1988. With this recognition, Patanjali Research Foundation is entitled to receive administrative support from DSIR, Ministry of Science and Technology to promote or encourage scientific research activities at their laboratories.

National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL)

National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) has accessed and accredited the laboratories at Patanjali Research Foundation in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard: General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories (Certificate Number TC 725). Biological and Chemical Testing can be done according to NABL's Scope of Accreditation at our laboratories.

Committee for the Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CCSEA)

The Animal House Facility of In-vivo laboratory at Patanjali Research Foundation is registered with CCSEA (Committee for the Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals), Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, New Delhi, Government of India. The laboratory is certified to perform research on small animals only, for advancement of basic sciences.

Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBSC), Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Drug Discovery and Development Division of Patanjali Research Foundation is accredited by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, for Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBSC). This accreditation hereby allows Patanjali Research Foundation to carry out or engaged in research activities involving genetic manipulation, microorganisms, plants or animals.

Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA)

Drug Discovery and Development Division of Patanjali Research Foundation has been authorized by Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) for chemical analyzing in food, agriculture, and supplements.

National Bee Board (NBB)

Patanjali Research Foundation has been inducted as a life member, under the corporate member category, of National Bee Board (NBB) under Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India.

Index Herbarium, New York Botanical Garden, USA

Patanjali Research Foundation Herbarium (PRFH) is accredited by Index Herbarium, New York Botanical Garden, USA. More than 13,500 specimens of plants were collected from different parts of India.

100% Income Tax Exemption for Donation to Patanjali Research Foundation (Trust) [as per Section 35 (I) (ii) of Income Tax Act].

Patanjali Research Foundation (Trust) has been approved by the Central Government of India for the category of 'Research Association' for Scientific Research for the purpose of clauses (ii) of sub-section (1) of Section 35 of Income Tax Act. Therefore, donations to Patanjali Research Foundation (Trust) are 100% exempted from Income Tax.
