Job Profile for Examination Controller​

The Examination Controller is responsible for planning, managing, and executing all examination related activities within an educational institution, training centre, university, or project. The role ensures that examinations are conducted smoothly, confidentially, and in full compliance with institutional policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualification & Experience:
  • Master’s degree in Education Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7–10 years of experience in a registrar’s office or similar administrative role within an educational institution.
  • Proficiency in student information systems, data analysis, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of higher education policies, data privacy laws, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in data reporting and familiarity with accreditation processes.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Manage and maintain accurate student records—registrations, grades, and graduation requirements—ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and security.
  • Collaborate with academic departments to coordinate course offerings, classroom allocations, and examination schedules, supporting smooth registration and academic operations.
  • Conduct audits, verify degree requirements, and oversee the conferral of degrees, ensuring timely and accurate processing for all students.
  • Develop and implement institutional policies related to academic records, data security, and registration procedures, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Analyze academic and administrative data to support planning, enhance student services, and contribute to the institution’s strategic goals.
  • Coordinate with Admissions, Financial Aid, Academic Affairs, and other relevant departments to streamline workflows and support student success initiatives.
