Job Profile for Company Secretary:
The Company Secretary (CS) will serve as a key governance professional ensuring that Patanjali Yogpeeth and its associated entities operate in full compliance with statutory, regulatory and organizational requirements. The CS should be meticulous and knowledgeable, with a strong understanding of India's corporate governance and regulatory compliance. They should also have a track record in company secretarial practices and corporate administration. The CS will act as a bridge between the management, the Board of Directors and external authorities, supporting ethical governance, transparency and effective decision-making in line with the values of Patanjali.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration or a related field.
- Qualified Company Secretary (ACS) with a membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
- 10+ years of experience as a company secretary or a similar role in corporate governance and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, regulations and governance principles.
- Familiarity with corporate governance codes and guidelines, such as the Companies Act and SEBI regulations.
- Experience with corporate secretarial software and tools for document management and compliance tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
Scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Coordinate and track cross-departmental projects, ensuring timely progress and alignment with leadership directives.
- Maintain statutory compliance and ensure all project activities adhere to applicable legal and governance requirements.
- Draft, review and manage project-related documents, including agreements, MOUs, minutes, resolutions and approvals.
- Prepare project reports, dashboards and updates for senior management, Board and committees.
- Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders, resolving queries and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Organize and support Board meetings, especially those pertaining to project decisions, including agenda, notes and documentation.
- Monitor project timelines and identify risks, proposing corrective actions.
- Standardize and improve project and compliance processes, including documentation systems, approvals and follow-up mechanisms.
- Ensure efficient allocation, utilization, and maintenance of construction equipment to optimize productivity and reduce downtime.

- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
